The Cyber War Academy is a special training programme designed as part of this mission. Through our “Mutfak” (Kitchen) programme, held annually to great interest, we offer students real-world cybersecurity experience that goes far beyond traditional internship programmes.
The Cyber War Academy is not merely an internship programme — it is a career journey that shapes the cybersecurity professionals of the future.
Within the scope of the programme, students receive in-depth training in offensive and defensive security approaches, while specialised training in software and design is also provided. Another important pillar of the programme is our PriviaHub Cyber Range platform. This platform — which provides training, simulation and exercise environments for the cyber defence forces of the world’s leading armies and major institutions — offers students the opportunity to gain experience in real-world scenarios.
Students develop their competencies through hands-on work in critical areas such as penetration testing, incident response, security analysis, threat hunting and system security.
This comprehensive training programme consists of three phases. The first phase is a 3-month foundational training process in which participants are taught core concepts of cybersecurity, threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, and attack and defence methodologies. The second phase is an in-depth training process lasting 6 to 12 months, focused on enabling students to acquire advanced skills in the area they wish to specialise in. During this phase, students both consolidate their theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience by working on real-world attack and defence scenarios. Finally, the third phase is a period in which students have the opportunity to work part-time in the industry throughout their academic lives. During this process, students have the chance to take part in real projects alongside industry professionals and become fully equipped in the field of cybersecurity.
